Abstract:
To reliably output a burnout signal even when there is an abnormality in a V/I conversion unit.SOLUTION: A field apparatus 100 includes: a signal generation unit 11 for outputting a signal corresponding to an output current I corresponding to data to be transmitted to an upper device 200; a V/I conversion unit 6 for adjusting an output current I flowing through a two-wire transmission line L to be a current within a predetermined current range corresponding to a signal from the signal generation unit 11; an abnormality detection unit 7 for detecting voltage in proportion to the output current of the V/I conversion unit 6 to output a burnout control signal VC when a value of the detected current is different from a normal value; and a burnout signal output unit 8 for outputting current outside the predetermined current range as a burnout signal instead of the output current of the V/I conversion unit 6 when the burn-out control signal VC is output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
