Abstract:
To provide a field emission type electron source of a novel structure for medical, industrial and analytical uses.
The electron source is provided with an anode 12 extended in an axial shape, a field emission type cathode 14 arranged in a circular shape around the anode 12, and further, a member 24 around the anode 12 for shielding electrons from the cathode 14.
