Abstract:

To provide a field emission element and a field emission display element applied with it.

The field emission element comprises a substance layer which is formed on a glass substrate and has a concave shape portion, a cathode electrode formed on the substance layer, an electron emission source formed on a cathode electrode corresponding to the concave shape portion, a gate insulation film formed with a cavity communicated with the concave portion on the cathode electrode, and a gate electrode having a gate hole formed corresponding to the cavity on the gate insulation film.
