Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve problems of a filed emission element in a conventional technique such as a gate leakage current, electron discharge caused by an anode voltage and spreading of electron beams.
SOLUTION: The device includes a cathode part with a field emitter to discharge electrons, a field emission induction-gate part to induce the electron discharge, and an anode part to receive the discharged electron. The device furthermore includes a field emission restriction gate part interposing between the cathode part and the gate part to restrict the electron discharge.
