Title:
FIELD EMISSION TYPE LIGHT-ELECTRIC CURRENT CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3654480
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-electric current converter which can respond at high speed, make the current amount to be converted higher, and lower noise much more.
SOLUTION: It is so designed that a plurality of small needle shaped electron emitting sources 2 arranged densely are approached to a current collecting electrode 3 while being faced to each other, voltage is applied to a gap between each electron emitting source 2 and the current collecting electrode 3 so as to allow high electric fields to be generated at the tip end parts of the electron emitting sources 2, and light is made to irradiate the tip end parts of the electron emitting sources 2, so that current in response to the intensity of irradiation light is taken out of the current collecting electrode 3.
