To provide a field pickup unit (FPU) receiver that can be downsized for the installation therein a diversity receiving unit even when a secured space is narrow and whereby the cost of the diversity receiving unit can be reduced.

The FPU receiver is configured such that isolators are added to the frequency conversion section to share an RF VCO 7 and to make post-stage VCOs different from each other thereby converting a reception output into two different systems of IF signals, and a composite unit composes both the IF signals at the final stage, and a control signal transmitted from a control section can interrupt power for low noise amplifiers and the post-stage VCOs. Further, the control section is configured such that a first stage of a distributor of the control section distributes the IF signal outputted from the frequency conversion section to band pass filters, from which two different systems of IFF signals are given to demodulation circuits compatible with a plurality of systems, the demodulation circuits respectively demodulate the IF signals, and it is switched that a signal resulting from applying space diversity (SD) to the demodulated TS signal is outputted or the demodulated TS signal is outputted as it is.
