PURPOSE: To obtain a filament woven fabric rich in the changes in the surface and simultaneously provided with a good tension, a good stiffness, a good drape property, etc., which are the characteristics of the touches of new synthetic woven fabrics.

CONSTITUTION: The characteristics of the filament raised woven fabric having (A) high density raised parts each with ≥30 raised filaments per square meter and (B) low density raised parts each with ≤15 raised filaments per square meter comprise that (A) or (B) are dispersed at ≥15 places per an area of 2cm×2cm on the average and that the total area of (A) or (B) occupies 5-45% of the surface of the woven fabric.
