Abstract:
To remove foreign matters attached to a fiber bundle to suppress the deterioration of strength of a manufactured tank.SOLUTION: A filament winding device for winding a fiber bundle around a rotating liner is provided with: a fiber bundle forwarding part from which the fiber bundle is forwarded; a fiber bundle supply part for supplying the fiber bundle forwarded from the fiber bundle forwarding part to the liner; and a foreign matter removal part arranged between the fiber bundle forwarding part and the fiber bundle supply part, and for removing foreign matters attached to the fiber bundle. The foreign matter removal part has foreign matter removal rollers rotating in a rotation speed slower than a conveying speed of the fiber bundle corresponding to a rotation speed of the liner so that a part on a rotation surface in contact with the fiber bundle moves in the same direction as the fiber bundle. Each of the foreign matter removal rollers has a groove provided from a region having the rotation surface in contact with the fiber bundle to a region outside in the width direction of the fiber bundle. The groove has an angle with respect to a conveying direction of the fiber bundle formed in an acute angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
