In the file browser 1, an access history management part 11 creates and manages an access history 21 of each file on a main memory 101, a period setting part 12 sets a period to calculate the total access time of each file, a cumulative access time calculation part 13 calculates the cumulative access time of each file in the set period on the basis of the access history 21, a display form control part 14 determines a display form of an icon of each file and an icon of a directory to which each file belongs, according to a length of the calculated cumulative access time, and a display part 15 displays the file and the directory belonging to the directory designated by a user on a display device 105 by use of the icon of the display form determined by the display form control part 14.
