Abstract:

To provide a file monitoring device by which operating states to a reference file and a derived file are easily grasped without increasing a burden of an administrator.

The file monitoring device is provided with: an operation information management part 21 for managing the operation events in which the content of operations to files is expressed; a derived file detection part 22 for detecting the derived file generated on the basis of the reference file based on operation events; a terminal detection part 23 for detecting the terminal which uses the derived file based on the operation events; and a display screen generation part 25 for generating a display screen which performs list display of terminal information about the terminal which uses the selected reference file and the derived file relevant to the reference file.
