Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction plate having less dragging torque and capable of improving cooling performance.SOLUTION: Since, on a friction plate 10, lubricant flown from an outer peripheral side oil groove 42 into an inner peripheral side is run on a first friction material 20, and lubricant flown from an inner peripheral side oil groove 44 into an outer peripheral side is run on a second friction material 30, the lubricant is discharged in an axis direction, then an interval between the friction plate 10 and the opposite plate is made enlarged, thereby content of air in the lubricant is increased, so that dragging torque can be reduced. Also, since lubricant is easily flown out to the outside of a friction engagement surface through an outer peripheral side communication oil groove 46 or inner peripheral side communication oil groove 48, heat efficiency is enhanced, so that cooling performance can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
