Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transfer photographed image data to a specific file server even in a place to which a user goes out.
SOLUTION: A memory card reading device (a reading means) 1 is controlled by a system controller 2. A memory card 6 is a record medium for storing an image data file or the like. A modem 7 has a function realizing communication between the memory card reading device 1 and the outside by use of a telephone line. A specific record area inside the record medium is stored with position information showing positions of specific areas on the file servers 16, 17, 18. When the record medium is installed to the reading means 1, the reading means 1 reads the positional information and the file, and a file transfer means transfers the file read to the specific areas on the file servers 16, 17, 18 shown by the positional information read by the reading means 1.
