Abstract:
To attain always high speed file access by dynamically copying/moving files among storage devices after automatically grasping the inclination of file access requests from terminals in addition to a case of new file storage and corresponding also to a change in the inclination of the file access requests in a file storage management system using plural storage devices on a network.
The system is provided with a master server 141 for managing access information to a file on the network and the arrangement of files stored in storage media 121 to 125 is dynamically changed in accordance with the inclination of file access requests from terminals 111 to 114 to attain high speed file access from these terminals 111 to 114.
