PURPOSE: To share and automate the recovery processing in a file transfer mode.

CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a transfer interfacer 102 providing the service primitive for transfer of a file by the request of the user 101, a transfer control means 106 transferring the service primitive of the transmission/ reception request to the system 107, a shared recovery circuit 104 storing the information on the service primitive which is transmitted/received between a transfer 101 and a system 107 of the opposite party, and a recovery control means 103 automatically executing the processing control to transmit again the file at a designated error recovery point with use of the service primitive stored in a buffer 105.
