Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the application of excess force to a ball and to dissolve a trouble of the ball to drop by engaging a coil spring which pushes a ball to the inner wall of a holder end calking part with the spring bearing part of a holder support member.
CONSTITUTION: In a pen point part 1, a holder 2 which held a ball 3 is engaged with the end hole 5b of a holder support member 5, a coil spring 4 which is engaged with a spring bearing part 5a is placed in the holder 2, and a ball 3 is energized always to the inner wall of the end chalking part of the holder 2. Stainless steel, etc., are used for the coil spring 4, small diameter parts 4a the diameter of which is smaller than that of an ink passing hole 2c are formed at right and left ends, an intermediate coil part 4b which has a coil diameter larger than the outside diameter of the small diameter part and the installation load of which is 10-100g is installed next to the small diameter part 4a. In this way, an application implement for correction liquid, etc., having a ball seat 2d which receives writing pressure applied to the ball 3 in use and smoothes the rotation of the ball 3 is obtained.
