To make access to the whole of a locking device from the outside difficult; to improve a protecting function by the locking device through the use of a dedicated unlocking implement; and to constitute the whole of the locking device in a simple low-profile manner.
This filing implement comprises: a file body 3 with a release part 2 for taking in and out a document and the like; an opening and closing plate 4 which is hinge-connected to the file body, and which makes at least a part of the release part openable and closable; the locking device 5 which is provided between the opening and closing plate and the file body; and a key plate 6 for releasing the locked state of the locking device. The locking device comprises an engaging piece 7 which is provided at the free end of the opening and closing plate, and a main body member 8 which has an engaging groove 81 subject to the insertion and locking of the engaging piece. The main body member 8 is provided on the side of the inner surface of the file body 3.
