Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the opening and closing operation of filing legs as well as the assembling work of a filing instrument by reducing the number of parts.
SOLUTION: The filing instrument is constituted of a base 17, fixed to the inside surface of a front cover body 14, a slide member 18, arranged between the base 17 and a rear cover 13, and a plurality of pieces of filing legs 20, supported at one end of short width direction of the base 17 through a shaft member 19 so as to permit pivoting. The shaft member 19 is equipped with a hook unit 36 and the filing posture is retained under such a condition that the hook unit 36 is engaged mutually with a hook type projection 32 provided on the slide member 18. The engagement is released by extracting the slide member 18 whereby the filing posture can be released.
