Abstract:

To provide a filler for electric discharge crushing which is packed in a groove or a hole formed in the surface of an object to be crushed and is prevented from leaking out of the groove or hole.

In order to transmit the pressure generated by an electric discharge of an electrode apparatus installed in the inside of a groove or a hole 61 formed on the surface of an object to be crushed 60 to the inner face of the groove or hole 61, the filler for electric discharge crushing is a filler 42 for electric discharge crushing set in the inside of the groove or hole 61 in a manner of surrounding a discharge part of the electrode apparatus and is characterized in that the filler is made of gel. The gel is a water-containing gel of a highly water-absorbing resin 52 which absorbs water 51.
