When a plurality of pockets formed on a packaging film on transfer with tablets are filled, holding portions, which regulate the supply of tablets, are arranged to correspond to respective passages of a tablets supply chute disposed to be perpendicular to the transfer direction of a packaging film (width of the packaging film). The holding portions are made to operate in at least two different patterns of timing. For example, to fill the pockets arranged zigzaggedly with tablets or to fill the pockets arranged normally with tablets zigzaggedly, two plate cams 54 and 55 are used to make followers 42 and 43 follow the cams 54 and 55, which rotates a rotating unit to change the position of the holding portions. The holding portions operating in a timing based on the first plate cam 54 (four holding portions including the holding portion 46) and the holding portions operating in timing based on the second plate cam 55 (four holding portions including the holding portion 47), are arranged alternately.
