The filling member of a filling machine having a circulating structure for filling a bottle or the same kind of other container 6 with a liquid filling material has a liquid pipe line for controlled supply of the filling material at a supply opening 4 in a filling member casing 2. The supply opening 4 is provided in a notch part 15 and the container pouring part 6.1 of each container 6 reaches in the notch part at filling and at least further one another pipe line of the filling member 1 gets in the notch part. During a cleaning phase or a rinsing phase, the notch part 15 can be closed with a plate-like closing member.
