Abstract:

To simplify the removal of a jam while maintaining light shield for a film.

The film carry-in device is attached to an image recording apparatus main body so as to be freely drawn out, and carries a photosensitive film into the image recording apparatus main body. A conveying means conveys, sequnetially from the top, films stacked in a film storage means and moves between at least two positions, a film carry-in position and and a film replenishment position. When the conveying means is in the film carry-in position, the film storage means and the conveying means are stored in a first light-shield means that maintains the light-shield effects of the film storage means and conveying means. The first light-shield means is provided with an exit for carrying each film out. Also, the first light-shield means is integrally provided with a second light-shield means that is movable in relation to the first light-shield means and opens/closes the exit. Additionally, it has a light-shield switching means which opens/closes the second light-shield means.
