Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent double exposure of a film by a camera and a film spool mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A photographic film cassette 1 provided with a disk 45 with a radial bar code is provided. The disk 45 has first and second arcuate segments having different radiuses, and a space is formed between the disk 45 and a peripheral edge side 68 of a cassette housing. If the whole or a part or the film is already exposed, the disk is properly positioned to allow the space to be fitted to a double exposure preventing hook provided in the camera. When insertion of the cassette to the camera is tried, the hook is fitted to the edge side of the housing, and thereby, complete insertion of the exposed cassette is suppressed.
