PURPOSE: To prevent discoloration and staining and to improve cleanability and adhesion by applying a film coating material resistant to heat and stains and consisting of a methylpolysiloxane of specified structure and a polysiloxane and specified flake substance or fibrous powder or their mixture, and heat-curing the coating material.
CONSTITUTION: The coating material contains 20-95wt.% of a methylpolysiloxane having a three-dimensional network structure and 0.1-5wt.% of a polysiloxane having a straight-chain molecular structure. The coating material further contains 5-80wt.% of a flake substance having 1-100m particle diameter and 0.01-10m thickness and selected from the mica powder, metal oxide-coated mica powder, graphite, talc, plate iron oxide pigment, flake metal powder and potassium titanate fiber or the fibrous powder having 0.1-5m fiber diameter and 10-1000m length or their mixture. The coating material resistant to heat and stains and contg. the above-mentioned essential components, 0-75wt.% of colorant and extender and 0-5wt.% of additive as the nonvolatile components is applied on the hot air blowoff port 2, of an oil burning heater 1 or the like and heat-cured.
