PURPOSE: To obtain the titled film counting device which automatically indicates all of the prescribed numbers of film frames and also numbers of remaining frames which can be used for taking photograph, by loading a cassette fitting chamber with a film cassette provided with a indicating member having a length corresponding to all film frames.

CONSTITUTION: A cassette fitting chamber 30 is loaded with a film cassette 56, and the film cassette 56 is provided with an indicating member 58 which indicates the number of all of the film frames at one side of the film supplying section. Moreover, the length of the indicating member 58 is set so that the thrusted amount of a thrusting member 28 which is thrusted by the indicating member 58 will correspond to the length of 43-teeth of a rack 42. As the result of this arrangement, when the cassette fitting chamber 30 is loaded with the film cassette 56, the numbers of all of the film frames and remaining frames which can be used for taking photograph can be indicated automatically in a display window.
