To provide a film developing device which dries a long film after development, the film developing device being characterized in that the whole film developing device can be made small-sized by making a space for drying the film small and the drying efficiency of the film is excellent.
The film developing device is equipped with a drying reel 61 which has a spiral guide part 614 formed to have at least a film length from one place of an outer peripheral edge to the center between nearly circular side plates 612 supported at proper positions in a device body and arranged side by side apart from each other nearly by a film width, a film conveying means (2nd conveyance part 50) which inserts the film 2 having been developed into the drying reel 61 from the one place of the outer peripheral edge along a guide part 614, an air blowing means 63 of drying the film 2 contained in the drying reel 61, and a preliminary drying means (squeeze roller couple 62) of removing liquid on film surfaces before the film is contained in the drying reel 61.
