To provide a film developing device that can greatly reduce amounts of respective processing liquids and eliminates the need for liquid management and is made greatly small-sized, wherein a film is smoothly inserted and even bar code parts provided at both ends of the film can be developed.
The film developing device is equipped with a developing reel 41 which has a spiral guide portion (film guide groove 412a) for guiding the film 2 formed corresponding to at least the film length, a developing tank 42 which houses at least a portion of the developing reel 41, a developing reel driving means (developing reel driving section 43) which drives and rotates the developing reel 41, a processing liquid supply means (liquid supply section 70) which fills the developing tank 42 with processing liquids, and a processing liquid discharging means (liquid discharging section 90) which discharges the respective processing liquids from the developing reel 41 in order, and an internal guide surface 412d and an external guide surface 412e of the film guide groove 412a are formed obliquely to a film surface.
