Abstract:
To provide a film exterior battery capable of miniaturizing and more reliably releasing gas at an intended position during expansion.SOLUTION: The film exterior battery includes: a battery body whose exterior body is an exterior film; two external terminals, each of which has a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, drawn from one short side of the battery body; and a strip-shaped fixing band for restraining the battery body in a direction parallel to a long side so that the short side of the battery body is divided. A through hole is provided on a long side of the battery body, which is part of an adhesive portion for sealing the exterior film provided on the periphery of the battery body, for releasing a gas generated inside the battery body. The through hole penetrates the exterior film in a direction orthogonal to an adhering surface of the adhering portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
