Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive film feed roller preventing the quality and process trouble caused by the adhesion of a film compsn. to the feed roller by correcting temp. difference in the width direction of the film feed roller and easy in maintenance.
CONSTITUTION: In a feed roller peeling the film formed by casting a raw material soln. on a substrate from the substrate to feed the same under drying, the feed roller 1 composed of a hollow cylinder 11 of which both ends are hermetically closed by side plates 13 is filled with cooling medium of a vapor phase 2a and a liquid phase 2b and grooves 16 are provided to the inner surface of the feed roller 1 over the total length in the axial direction thereof so as to run in an almost rotary direction. The feed roller 1 is used as at least one roll in a feed initial stage in the vicinity of a peeling means.
