Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a film feeding controller for a camera capable of optically detecting a perforation with a simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: In a film feeding device for the camera provided with a detecting means optically detecting the perforation PF of a film and a control means controlling the feeding of the film based on the perforation PF of the film detected by the detecting means, the detecting means has a first photoreceiving means PR1 receiving the reflected light of detection light toward the perforation of the traveling film, a second photoreceiving means PR2 receiving the reflected light of the detection light toward the film surface of a region where the perforation PF does not exist and a means comparing output from the first photoreceiving means PR1 with that from the second photoreceiving means PR2, to discriminate the perforation PF and for instance, the second photoreceiving means PR2 makes photoelectric conversion output lower than that of the fist photoreceiving means PR1, to discriminate the perforation PF from the difference, when the second photoreceiving means PR2 receives the light of the same light density as that of the first photoreceiving means PR1.
