PURPOSE: The titled composition for a coating compound useful for ships, furniture, forming a film of coating having improved light luster, water repellency, oil repellency, stain resistance, etc., obtained by blending a film-forming resin component with a fluorine compound containing a polyfluoroalkyl group and a high refractive index functional group, having a specific molecular weight in a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. film-forming resin component is blended with (B) 0.05W30pts.wt. fluorine-containing compound having 600W6,000 molecular weight, a copolymerized oligomer of a perfluoroalkyl group-containing monomer (e.g., 4W20C perfluoroalkyl group-containing monomer) and a high refractive index functional group-containing monomer, to give the aimed composition.
