Abstract:
To provide a film forming method by which a uniform film is formed and also productivity is improved.
In a reflection semi-transmission type liquid crystal display device, for example, a plurality of droplets Pr having smaller volume than a droplet Pt jetted to a transmission display area T are jetted to different positions respectively in a reflection display area Re where a color filter film having smaller volume than in the display area T should be formed. By such constitution, a distance from the end of the jetted droplet Pr to the periphery part of the display area Re becomes short, so that the jetted droplets Pr are wetted and spread all over the display area Re in a short period of time.
