PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin excellent in compatibility with LPG and improved in hair dressing power, set retention and detergency in shampooing by using a specified copolymer as the film-forming resin. CONSTITUTION:A film-forming resin comprising a copolymer of an MW or 10000-500000 is obtained by copolymerizing 30-80wt.% (meth)acrylamide monomer of formula I (wherein R<1> is H or a methyl; and R<2-3> are H or a 4-12C alkyl, or may be combined together to form a ring together with the adjacent nitrogen atom), 5-45wt.% (meth)acrylic ester monomer of formula II (wherein R<4> is a 1-4C alkyl), 2-30wt.% tert-amino (meth)acrylic ester monomer and/or tert-amino (meth)acrylamide monomer of formula III (wherein R<5> is a 2-3C alkylene; R<6-7> are each a methyl or an ethyl; and a is 0 or 1) and 0-30wt.% (meth)acrylic ester monomer of formula IV (wherein R<8-9> are each a 2-4C alkylene; R<10> is H or a methyl; b and c are each 0-50, and b and c cannot be 0 at the same time) at 30-100 deg.C in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator.
