The film holder for holding a positive film of a slide mount type to a prescribed position is characterized in that a mounting surface 6c of a film mount holding body (carriage) 6 for mounting the film mount 7a is provided with a recessed part 6a and further the top of the mounting surface 6c facing the recessed part 6a is provided with a projecting part 6b and the film mount 7a is brought into abutment on the recessed part 6a and is made attachable and detachable beyond the projecting part 6b on the mounting surface 6c.
