CONSTITUTION: In the case of not having a scanning history, the photographic film F is carried in a forward direction, and rought image data on a whole frame P is stored by a RAM 44 through a CCD line sensor 16. And after the photographic film F is carried in a reverse direction and stored in a film cartridge 24, the photographic film F is carried in a forward direction, and the photographic condition of each frame detected based on the image data is recorded on the magnetic recording layers 56 of every frame P through a magnetic head 52. In the case having a scanning history, the photographic film F is carried in the forward direction without performing the photographic condition recording processing, and minute image data on the frame P is fetched through the CCD line sensor 16 in accordance with the photographic condition of the frame P, and then, the data is outputted to a monitor TV 50.
