PURPOSE: To photograph a laterally long object in a normal picture frame and to determine the picture frame of a field to be photographed by providing a lens system which can photograph a panoramic area and a viewing type finder which has a picture frame confirming means.
CONSTITUTION: A photographic lens 4 is equipped with a wide-angle lens to photograph a panoramic scene, which is photographed in a laterally long picture W except the upper and lower beltlike areas B1 and B2 of the normal film picture frame. Then the picture frame confirming means 7 is protruded at the corner parts of the finder 6 to enable the object corresponding to the boundary position of the picture frame to be confirmed at the time of photography. Conse quently, the panoramic photographying is available while the positional relation between the photographic picture frame and the object is confirmed.
