PURPOSE: To provide such a film and its manufacture by which yarn can be prevented from fraying from a woven fabric layer without increasing sliding resistance and abnormal sound.
CONSTITUTION: The warp and weft of a woven fabric layer 7 of a film door (film) are formed into a window 41b in such a state as extending diagonally to an aperture end 410 in the surrounding of the window 41b. If it is formed like this, a yarn 73 cut at the aperture end 410 of the window 41b is gradually separated from the aperture end 410 and woven inside of the woven fabric layer 7 so as to prevent a frayed spot from developing. The outer end of a belt body consisting of a fabric layer and a resin film layer, and the aperture end around the window are compressed and heated to be molten, before/after the window opening process, so that these ends are made thinner than the other parts of the belt body. If it is done like this, because the molten end of the woven fabric layer is thinner than the other parts of the woven fabric layer, the fraying can be prevented without increasing sliding resistance and abnormal sound.
