A flattened layer is laminated on a base material layer made of a plastic film by coating the base material layer with a resin solution prepared by dissolving a material substantially same to the plastic film and an inorganic compound layer is laminated on the flattened layer to form the film laminate. As a solvent for use in the preparation of the resin solution, it is preferable to use a solvent characterized in that the solubility of a resin to be dissolved at 25°C is 3 wt.% or above and a hole is not formed in a plastic film at a speed of 100 μm/100 min or above when the solvent is dropped on the plastic film by the dropping method prescribed in JIS H0400-500.
