The phase of a spool 22 held by engagement parts 352a and 352b is stabilized by a phase stabilization plate 368. Then, the tip part 20a of a filmstrip 14a is engaged with a spool 22, and a spooling motor 354 is synchronized with the feed motor of the filmstrip 14a, driven according to a reel diameter to the spool 22, and the film is spooled. Next, the winding back of the film is blocked by bringing support disks 342a and 342b contact with the portion of perforations and the spool 22 is transported to the feed region of a film cartridge together with the engagement parts 352a and 352b.
