Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film that reflects light in a certain wavelength region such as infrared, have a high scattering rate, and transmits therethrough visible light (for example, in a wavelength of 550 nm).SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a plastic film includes applying: a plastic film that has transmissivity of 80% or more for light of 550 nm wavelength, has at least one reflection wavelength exhibiting a reflection peak having regular reflectance of 10% or more in a range of 300-5000 nm wavelength, and has a scattering rate of 20% or more in the reflection wavelength; and a liquid crystal composition containing a rod-like liquid crystal compound on a layer surface to which a discotic liquid crystal compound is vertically oriented.
