Abstract:

To provide a film containing a metallic compound capable of being released as a form of a metallic element inside a polyester by electromagnetic irradiation, capable of well conducting a metal deposition process in after-processing, capable of being given at a low production cost, having good drawability, excellent in mechanical characteristics, such as a high modulus of elasticity in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction, having a prescribed shrinkage percentage, and having good adhesion of the film itself to a metal of a circuit pattern.

This film has a total thickness of 5-500 μm and comprises a single layer or multilayer film formed out of a thermoplastic polymer and at least monoaxially oriented, wherein the film contains 0.5-15 wt% of the metallic compound which is activated by the electromagnetic irradiation and at least one layer composing the film is composed of a polymer having amide groups.
