To provide film-packaged butter produced so that all that a user must do is toasting a slice of bread with an oven toaster or the like and putting butter on the slice of toasted bread to make the butter uniformly applied over the slice of bread by its remaining heat through solving the following problem: butter is hard to be uniformly applied over a slice of bread because the butter is often stored in a refrigerator and too hard to be uniformly applied on the slice of bread if not left in room temperatures for a while just after taken out from the refrigerator to become softened.
The film-packaged butter is obtained by packaging a thin slice of butter with an edible film. The butter packaged with an edible film may be laminated in multiple layers.
