To obtain a film for packing fiber comprising a propylenic resin and a specific elastomer, having a strengths required for packaging fibers, such as breaking strength, excellent in flexibility, and little in unpleasant noises caused by the rubbing of the film.
This film for packaging fibers comprises 100 pts.wt. of a propylenic resin and 3-30 pts.wt. of an elastomer having a tan δ peak temperature of -10 to 25°C in a dynamic viscoelasticity spetrum measured at a frequency of 100Hz. The tan δ is originated from the rubber component. The film is preferably obtained by extruding from a T die a blend comprising 100 pts.wt. of a propylene-ethylene random copolymer having a melt flow rate of 0.5-10g/10min and an ethylene content of 3-4wt.% and 3-12 pts.wt. of styrene- isoprene block copolymer wherein the isoprene units of the polyisoprene block are bound in the form of 3, 4 bonds or the hydrogenation product of the block copolymer.
