To provide a film sticking apparatus that can stick a film automatically to a honeycomb structure.

A film sticking apparatus 100 includes: a gripping member 11 gripping a film having an adhesive face and hold the film in a planar state; a pressing member 21 pressing the adhesive face of the film being held in a planar state against one end face of a cylindrical honeycomb structure having a plurality of cells formed communicating between two end faces so as to stick the film to the one end face; and a folding member 31 having an opening formed undergoing the insertion of the end of the honeycomb structure to which side the film is stuck, wherein the hardness of the folding member has 10 degrees at the lower limit and 60 degrees at the upper limit: provided that the folding member 31 presses at least part of folded protruding part against part of side face of honeycomb structure to stick the film to the side face while folding the protruding part of the film protruding from one end face toward the side face of the honeycomb structure, wherein the part of film protrudes due to the insertion of the honeycomb structure into an opening 31a.
