To provide a film for a stretch label to be mounted on an outer periphery of a cylindrical article such as a bottle container, a horned article or an article with a smoothly curved surface utilizing a self-elasticity of the film, and excellent in a stretch property, printability, and scratch resistance.
The film for the stretch label has a thickness of 0.04 to 0.2 mm and is formed by a co-extrusion film having at least two layers comprising (1) an outer layer comprising a thermoplastic resin layer consisting of 50 wt.% or more of polypropylene and 50 wt.% or less of other polyolefin resin and (2) an inner layer consisting of a polyolefin resin containing 50 wt.% or more of a specific thermoplastic resin. The film having an outer layer thickness of 10 to 50%, an inner layer thickness of 30 to 90%, a longitudinal length of 15 mm and a lateral length of 100 mm is distorted to the lateral direction in a rate of 300 mm/min to obtain a strain of 10% or less and a permanent strain of 1.5% or less.
