To provide a simplified, inexpensive film take-up mechanism for a camera capable of coping with a change in the number of photographic frames, and for fixing the film take-up shaft and checking the additional take-up operation when the take-up operation of the prescribed number of frames (the number of photographed frames) is finished.
A drum 15 is attached to the film take-up shaft 14, and the rotation of the drum is stopped by a 2nd lever 12 when the take-up operation of the prescribed number of frames is finished. Besides, the 2nd lever 12 is detached from the drum 15 by pressing the lever 12 by a 1st lever 11 which is actuated by operating a shutter button 21. The lever 12 is held by a 3rd lever 13 at a position of releasing the engagement with the drum, and the 3rd lever 13 is detached from the 2nd lever by pressing the lever 13 by a 4th lever 18. The moving extent of the 4th lever 18 is controlled by a stopper 16, and the 4th lever 18 returns by one pitch during one rotation of the shaft 14 by a feed pawl 19. And the 4th lever 18 returning to an initial position is checked by a 5th lever 20, and the 4th lever 18 is moved so as to be detached from the 5th lever 20 and brought into contact with the stopper 16 when the shutter button 21 is depressed.
