PURPOSE: To provide a film takeout device capable of perfectly separating film ejected from an instant camera from the camera.

CONSTITUTION: Only a part of the film F which has been already exposed is ejected from the camera C by developer spreading rollers 7 and 8. The film takeout device 1 is provided with a switch SW detecting that a part of the film F is ejected from the camera C, a motor 30 started by the switch SW, and pull-out rollers 31 and 32 driven by the motor 30. Thus, the film F is perfectly pulled out. A frame 36 supporting the rollers 31 and 32 freely moves in a lateral direction. Therefore, the rollers 31 and 32 also laterally move by following the movement of the film F by the rollers 7 and 8. Then, there is no possibility that the film F is elongated or compressed even when the circumferential speed of the rollers 7 and 8 and that of the rollers 31 and 32 are not the same.
