To provide an inexpensive film unit with a lens equipped with a built-in stroboscope capable of adjusting stroboscopic illuminating light and preventing overexposure and underexposure.

A stroboscopic light emission part 10 is constituted of a stroboscopic discharge tube 31, a reflector 32 for reflecting light from the discharge tube 31 forward, and a transparent protector 33 for protecting the front surface sides of the discharge tube 31 and the reflector 32. A plate-like piece 33b horizontally projecting toward the discharge tube 31 nearly in the same width as the length of the discharge tube 31 is integrally molded on the back surface side of the protector 33. The peak of the stroboscopic illuminating light is made to deviate up and down out of a photographic range, and the intensity of the stroboscopic illuminating light on an upper or lower side periphery part on a photographic image plane is made stronger than the intensity of the stroboscopic illuminating light at the center part of the photographic image plane by 1.0 to 1.5 EV in terms of exposure conversion.
