To apply a special filter effect to the photographic print of a film unit with a lens by simple constitution.

A special effect filter is selectively arranged in front of an objective lens. By operating a special effect selection knob 17, a photographing mode is selected. A photographer observes an image to which the special filter effect is added through a finder optical system. A print designation mark is recorded in the optical mark area of photographic film simultaneously with exposure. In the case of forming the photographic print from the photographic film where photographing is performed by the film unit with a lens 10, the print designation mark is read out from a photographic frame where the print designation mark is recorded in the optical mark area so as to perform image processing for applying the special filter effect to the original image data of the photographic film.
