Abstract:
To prevent the life of a battery from getting short due to the discharge of a trigger capacitor at the time of high luminance and to surely perform strobe light emission as necessary.
A thyristor 39 is arranged to be connected in series with a trigger coil 36 and the trigger capacitor 37. When the luminance of a subject is equal to or above a specified luminance value and the resistance value of a photosensor 38 is small, the thyristor 39 is turned off so that conduction between the capacitor 37 and the coil 36 may be cut off, and the strobe light emission is avoided without discharging by connecting a resistance, etc., to the capacitor 37.
