PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a shutter release non-actuation state caused by the deflection of an outer cover made of resin and to prevent the non-actuation of a light shielding cover closing mechanism. SOLUTION: A supporting plate 46 supporting a rotary member constituting a shutter mechanism is incorporated in this film unit with a lens. A cartridge 26 used for the film unit with a lens is constituted so that a light shielding cover 26a which is freely opened and closed is incorporated in the film entrance thereof. The cover 26a is closed by a cover opening and closing member 61 by the energization of a torsion spring 60 by interlocking with an opening action executed when an exposed photographic film cartridge is unloaded from a cartridge loading chamber 27. A pressing rib 46h pressing the opening and closing member 61 and the spring 60 is integrally formed on the plate 46. Besides, a projection 46g supporting the bottom 14b of a shutter button 14 from the lower part is integrally formed on the plate 46.
